Ah, March. The doldrums of winter. One day a snow storm, the next 65 and sunny. Previews of spring that are not actually spring and then back to rain and cold. The one redeeming event in March for me has always been my birthday, which falls on March 15th (The Ides of March). And it got me thinking of my highs and lows for the past year. Professionally, a high was one of my largest events to date, an engagement party at the George Peabody Library (photo above).
Personally, a low was when I accidentally left my back door open overnight, and in the morning it became clear that a critter, likely raccoon, had rooted around my kitchen.
And so, I am excited and thankful to look forward to another trip around the sun filled with flowers and rosé. What could be better than that?
